Taipei Medical University officially established the College of Biomedical Engineering (CBME ) in August 2015. Based on medicine and science, the college integrates engineering technology with clinical medicine, and develops biomedical materials, medical equipment, tissue regeneration, nanotechnology and optoelectronic technology for medical diagnosis, disease treatment, health promotion and quality of life.

 

CBME will be based on medicine and engineering theory, emphasizing practical operation, and training clinical engineers, medical equipment technicians, medical engineers and biomedical engineering R & D talents of medical technology professionals to achieve knowledge in the brain and technology Medical workers with innovative and entrepreneurial thinking.

 

CBME aims to establish high-quality teaching, top-notch research and industrial talents in biomedical engineering with the goal of international cooperation in teaching research, translation of clinical medicine, biomedical engineering technology transfer, and biotechnology industry innovation and entrepreneurship.
