Taipei Medical University Achieves Rankings in THE World University 2024 by Subject

Taipei Medical University (TMU) has secured positions in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2024 by Subject, attaining ranks within 201-250 in Clinical and Health and 601-800 in Engineering. THE World University Rankings by Subject employ the same indicators as the World University Rankings 2024. The methodology encompasses 18 meticulously calibrated performance indicators that assess an institution’s excellence across five key areas: teaching, research environment, research quality, industry engagement, and international outlook.

Taipei Medical University Ranked 43rd in THE Asia University Rankings 2023

On June 22, Times Higher Education (THE) announced the release of the 2023 Asia University Rankings, with Taipei Medical University ranking 43rd and securing the 3rd position among domestic universities in Taiwan. THE World University Rankings evaluate universities across five key areas: “Teaching,” “Research,” “Citations,” “International Outlook,” and “Industry Income,” with a total of 13 indicators used to assess the performance of Asian universities. The latest edition (2023) includes a list of over 699 higher education institutions worldwide. Taipei Medical University excelled in THE’s five ranking indicators, particularly in “Teaching” and “International Outlook,” where it secured a place among the top 35 universities in Asia.

Free Shuttle Bus Information

The shuttle service for the Shuang-Ho Campus shuttle bus will undergo changes in boarding procedures starting from 3/18(Mon.). Please refer to the following explanation for relevant information.

●【The Shuang-Ho campus to the Jingan MRT station】
Priority boarding for faculty and students of our school. (Please present school-issued red identification cards.) If seats are still available, open to employees of Shuang-Ho Hospital. (Please present blue identification cards for Shuang-Ho Hospital employees). Please adhere to boarding order and mutual courtesy.
●【Shuang-Ho Hospital Intern Shuttle Bus】
(Departures at 16:00 and 17:40, follows the same route as the Shuang-Ho Campus line, with a stop at Liuzhangli MRT Station en route.) An additional stop will be added at the Shuang-Ho Campus boarding location (bus stop in front of the Teaching and Research Building), where faculty and students of the Shuang-Ho Campus are permitted to board if seats are available.
● The shuttle bus service is provided for TMU faculty, staff, and students only.
● Masks are still recommended, and not allowed to eat or drink.
