Taipei Medical University (TMU) has once again demonstrated its academic strength and global competitiveness, ranking within the 401–500 band worldwide and tied for third place in Taiwan in the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2026.

The 2026 THE Rankings evaluated 2,191 institutions worldwide across five key pillars: Teaching, Research Environment, Research Quality, Industry, and International Outlook. TMU achieved its highest ranking in Teaching, placing 199th globally—a testament to the university’s dedication to educational excellence, student learning outcomes, and faculty expertise. This recognition reflects TMU’s continued progress in advancing its academic mission and global reputation for excellence in health sciences and innovation.
