College of Oral Medicine

The College of Oral Medicine was established in 2001 and is the largest oral medicine clinical practice program among the eight oral medicine programs. With three Schools, School of Dentistry, School of Oral Hygiene, School of Dental Technology, and three graduate programs, Master Program in School of Dentistry, Master Program in Dental Technology, Ph.D. Program in the School of Dentistry, the College of Oral Medicine has become the most comprehensive oral medicine education system in Taiwan.
The objectives are humanism, excellence, internationalization, and research orientation. Highlights of our research and development include (i) oral cancer and temporomandibular joint dysfunction, (ii) big data analysis/ data mining, (iii) dental materials, tissue engineering, and stem cell applications, (iv) computerized/digitalized facial reconstruction (v) 3D computer-aided design and manufacturing (3D CAD/CAM).
The college is not limited to training clinical practitioners but seeks connections with academia and the industry to cultivate holistic talent that can balance education, research, and patient care. Furthermore, the College of Oral Medicine is the first dental education college in the nation that has created a serial Mini Programs that includes Ethical Education of Oral Medicine, Artificial Intelligence of Dentistry, Oral Healthcare Management, and Interdisciplinary Study.
Our objectives are humanism, excellence, internationalization, and research orientation.
